So I call this the 'girly' subscription box. This is great for females of any age, who want a sub box for that time of the month. I do think my daughter would enjoy this as much as I do!

Magic Brush Tangle Free Hair Brush Review

I was so excited to get this brush. I have super kinky curly hair, and trying to get a brush through it, can be a total PITA! Upon receiving it though, my husband stole it from me! LOL

This tangle free brush is perfect for getting out the 'rats' as we call them. I had no issues taking this straight through my hair without any issues at all. It didn't even seem to catch on the tangles, like normal brushes do. In addition to that, it didn't take out chunks of my hair either! Since it goes right through the tangles, it doesn't yank them out instead

This is why my husband stole it. He can now brush through his beard with ease, and without ripping half his beard out. Looks like I am going to have to order a second one for our house!

This brush is relatively small. About the size of my palm. It comes with a safeguard, to protect the bristles when it is not in use. It easily fits in any purse or shaving bag without taking up too much space as well!

Overall this is a fantastic tangle free Hair Brush that I highly recommend!

Best 3D Fiber Lash Mascara Review

This mascara is pretty awesome. I never thought about using a 3D mascara before, and I had never heard of Fiber mascara, so I was eager to try it and see the difference.

There truly is one. Regular mascara, to me, leaves your lashes flat, and looking like you caked on a bunch of black mud or paint. This mascara doesn't do that. It goes on smoothly, and makes your eyelashes POP. It's a simple process.

First you apply your regular mascara. Then you apply the sealing gel. Then you apply the fiber finishing. I highly recommend doing this once set of lashes at a time. I do the top of one eye, then the bottom, then the top of the other eye, then the bottom.

This really made my eyelashes look fantastic. They popped like they haven't before. When I wear makeup I rarely wear anything other than liner and mascara, so this is great for me. My only complaint is that the sealer STINKS. Not while it is on your eye, but when you open the bottle. It's not a downer for this, as the results are great. Just a warning, it doesn't smell very pleasant lol.

Also, they don't recommend wearing this with contacts, because of the fiber applier. I wore mine with contacts and it worked fine. HOWEVER, please do this at your own risk, and with caution. I made sure there was no loose fibers on the brush before applying, and did so very very carefully, so I didn't get any fibers in my eyes, as that would suck!

Expert Brow Shaping Tweezers provided by Bella Eleganze Review

These tweezers are awesome! Best tweezers I have had in a while.

The points of the tweezers meet up very well. SO much better than the cheap ones you get at the store. They grip very well because of this. Meaning you can pluck your eyebrows, get ingrown hairs, splinters, you name it, and the tweezers will actually grip what you are after. They have a tapered tip, which means you can get those stubborn hairs as well.

These things are large enough for my hands without being overly large. I can grip them well, and pinch them easily, without them flipping out of my hand, or hurting me (I have arthritis, so it's hard sometimes, but these make it easy). They are longer, so they lay in your hand correctly as well.

They are very well made. Strong, like they will last quite a while. I don't feel that they will bend if you pinch them too hard (which my husband has a tenancy to do). Seriously these are not cheaply made tweezers. You will not regret this purchase.

The price may seem a bit high, but don't get deterred by that. You will NOT have to replace these for a very very long time. So in the end, you're saving money, because you won't be buying several pairs over the next few years. These will become a staple in your household!

Easy Press Clippers Review

These clippers are pretty awesome. So many times I have bought a pair and they are so hard for me to use. I have RA, and it makes it difficult to grip things sometimes. The next problem I have is the ones that are so dull, you have to use an act of congress to get them to clip anything. OR, the ones that are just hard to use in general, as in they are sharp, but hard to squeeze.

These are anything but that. They are large enough for me to hang onto. They are easy to squeeze and they are sharp enough to clip my nails. Even toenails. We all know how stubborn toe nails can be. They are very nice looking as well, not that it really matters, but some may care about that LOL.

I love the design and ease of use of these. I will be keeping these in my purse at all times, so that I have a GOOD pair of clippers no matter where I go. Personally, I like the curve going inward on clippers as well. Some like it going outwards, so take note, these curve INwards. Not out!

The price is a bit higher on these than others, but when you think about the fact that these will last forever (or they seem like they will), then the price isn't really that high. You won't have to replace them, unless you lose them, or tear them up (if you're like my kids, cutting things you shouldn't with them *grrr). So when you think about the number of cheaper clippers you might go through, you're actually saving money in the end.

Overall these are great clippers, and I highly recommend them.

42 BEES Slant Tip Tweezers Review & Giveaway

These tweezers are pretty awesome. I hate going to the store and buying tweezers in packages, where you can't really see much, only to find out later that they are crap and don't pinch diddly! Well these are NOT like that!

The 'pinch' on these is amazingly accurate. They grip the hair (or whatever you are using them for) with ease and don't let go until you release pressure. The tips come together perfectly and with ease. They are easy to use and pinch together as well. They will grab the finest hair or splinter without issue. I love that the tip is stainless steel and has a fine point as well! For those tough to get splinters or hairs.

Another fave feature I have is the eyebrow comb on the opposite end. It's the feature you never knew you needed... Until you had it. Now I wonder why I did without it all these years! This is seriously one tool that covers all your eyebrow plucking needs!

The best part though, is that they are not some puny little pair of tweezers. They are big enough to hold, with ease, squeeze with ease and not worry about dropping. I hate tiny little pairs of tweezers. you look at them thinking "What am I going to do with these micro things?"... Never again!

Overall I love these tweezers and recommend them to everyone! Oh! And they come in a cute little 'comb' shaped box.. You know - 42 Bees.. Cute!

LeliaSea Dead Sea Mineral Hand Cream Review & Giveaway

This hand cream is simply amazing.

Upon receiving I placed it on my dry and cracking hands. I noticed that it immediately soaked in, and didn’t leave a greasy residue like most hand creams, this is great, because as you know, that greasy residue, can leave you feeling dirty. It has a light, pleasant scent, that I can’t quite describe. Not flowery, not sweet, but maybe a mixture of both. It is not overwhelming, but just right.

It’s a perfect sized bottle to carry with me. The texture of the lotion is very very creamy, not watery. I really do love it.

I’ve applied this every day to my hands and forearms. Usually about twice a day, unless I wash my hands a lot, or do dishes a lot. Then I have to apply it more. Each day I notice my skin is healing and getting better. It’s not as cracked as before, and for sure not as dry. I am going to let a gf of mine borrow it, so that she can try it on her psoriasis as well.

Overall this is a great lotion! I find it refreshing to finally find something that hydrates my skin, without making me feel greasy and dirty. I recommend this for anyone who deals with dry hands/arms.

Organic Argan Oil 100% USDA EcoCert Review

So I’ve heard all the hype over Argan Oil, and finally decided to give it a shot.

There are many many uses for Argan Oil. Hair, Nails, Dry & Cracked Skin, Face Moisturizer and many more! I have decided to use this for my dry and cracked skin. I wear flip flops a lot, and my feet are so very dry and peeling. Sometimes it hurts BAD.

Upon getting this oil, I applied a generous amount on my feet. I then put on some super soft fluffy socks to help keep the oil on my feet, and went to bed. When I woke in the morning, after the first night, my feet were soft. They were still cracked (you can’t expect perfection over night), but they didn’t hurt near as bad. I didn’t even have an oily residue left on my skin after that either. It all soaked in well overnight. I’ve used it for 4 nights now, and slowly, but surely, the cracks in my feet are subsiding, and they are becoming soft and silky smooth again.

I plan on trying this on my hair next as I have read that it leaves your hair soft and silky after using as a leave in conditioner over night.

LEABAGS - " Charlotte " Review

This wallet is AMAZINGLY awesome. It is made of a very nice soft leather.

It has several card holders, which is my absolute favorite feature. I always run out of card slots when I buy a new wallet. They never seem to have enough! There are 6 in the front, 6 in the flap, and 6 inside. It also has a zipper pouch inside, that is divided into two sections. When sliding my cards in and out, they didn't catch at all. This is a problem with most wallets. Either the card slot is too small, and the card catches, or it's such a tight fit, that you can't get your card out of it. This is not an issue with the Charlotte wallet from LeaBags! It also has a flap behind the inside card holder, and a zipper pouch on the back.

It snaps closed when needed, and the snap seems to be very sturdy. It is stitched very well and seems like it will withstand my regular wear and tear. When I purchase a wallet, I look for something that will last quite a while. I check the stitching, and the snaps and zippers. I make sure they seem sturdy. I don't want something losing it's snap after a week, or the zipper busting out of. THIS wallet is a perfect example of what I search for when I go shopping for a wallet.

I highly recommend this wallet to anyone looking for a new one. It's large enough that you don't even have to carry your purse if you don't wish to, but small enough to toss in your purse if you do. The brown leather is very classy looking, sleek and soft. I really do think you will fall in love with this!

Facial Sponge – Konjac Sponge With Activated Bamboo Charcoal Review

Upon receiving this sponge, I was a bit afraid of it. It feels like a rock when you get it. I mean hard as a rock, literally. You can’t squeeze it. I thought “Jeesh, and they want me to use this on my face???”…

I decided to give it a try, and read the directions on the back. It tells you to soak the ‘rock’ aka sponge (LOL) in water for a while before using it. Then to make sure to ring it out. I thought to myself “Nothing is going to hydrate this poor thing”.

I was wrong.

After a little bit of soaking, it was as soft as can be. Very squishy instead of the rock that I received in the mail. Okay, so this might work… I decided to use it with my face wash that I use every day. You do not have to use face wash. I just chose to do so. I added a tiny bit, then had to add a little bit more. I was afraid of adding too much, and never being able to rinse it out of the sponge. It didn’t take much in the end. It says to use gentle circle motions. This I did. I was amazed at how clean my skin felt when I was done. Exfoliating scrubs just don’t do the trick! I will never be happy again, unless I keep one of these sponges on hand.

Even hours later, I still feel so clean! The instructions tell you to ‘wring’ out your sponge by putting pressure on it until it’s ‘dry’ then to hang it (it comes with a string through it for hanging), in a well aired place until fully dry.

I am totally pleased with this ‘rock’ of a sponge LOL.. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get their face all pretty and clean!!

Fractionated Coconut Oil Review

So recently I have gotten into the Essential Oil phase. I started doing a lot of research about it, and slowly building up my stash. After doing the research, I learned that I should dilute most oils with a carrier oil. Such as Fractionated Coconut Oil. I've read that this can tone down super strong scents, and also can make oils safe for your skin.

Fractionated coconut oil is coconut oil that has been processed to create a shelf-stable oil. The fraction of the oil that is used is very high in saturated fats and this product can be used in many ways. 

The big advantage to fractionated coconut oil over regular coconut oil is that it is very shelf-stable. It will not become rancid, unlike unrefined oils, making it easier to work with. It is also capable of handling very high heat, which can be a distinct bonus, and it can be easier to work with than solid coconut oil. Thanks to the fact that it has a long shelf life, it does not require special storage and handling procedures, beyond keeping it in a cool dry place.

Fractionated coconut oil has no scent at all. It comes with a pump, so that you can easily disperse it. I feel it doesn't leave a residue on your skin.

I usually use one to two pumps of this oil, with 2-3 drops of whatever essential oil I am working with. That is when I am mixing for the diffuser. If I am mixing for my skin, I use two pumps of coconut oil with 1-2 drops of essential oil. I place in a separate dropper bottle, or a roller bottle, and mix well. Then I can place it on my skin, usually without any kind of reaction.

This oil can be used for a variety of things. From diluting essential oils, to moisturizing your skin. Especially in delicate areas, such as the face. However, this oil CAN still cause breakouts if you are sensitive. So please test on a small patch of skin first before applying it anywhere liberally. You for sure don't want a mega break out!

YALMEH Super Youth Eye Cream Review

I recently started using this eye creme because I have SEVERE dark circles under my eyes. I supposedly have a condition where the skin under my eyes is thinner than normal, so it makes my circles darker than normal as well.

I haven’t been using this creme long. I have however, noticed that my circles are a bit lighter. If you don’t look at them every day, you probably wouldn’t notice like I do. They aren’t gone, and they aren’t mega different, but they are a bit lighter than they have been for years. I hope after using it more, that they become less and less noticeable under my eyes. I don’t expect them to be completely gone. That’s just a dream, that usually an eye creme cannot do. Just mostly gone :)

The other thing I noticed using this creme is that it doesn’t leave a filmy or oily residue on my skin. I worry when I put cremes on my face if they do that. Especially in the summer. No one wants creme getting into their eyes with sweat. This creme can be massaged in completely and you’ll never know you put it there. That is a huge things for me.

Royal Derma Roller Review

I recently received this derma roller for free for the purpose of an honest review. All opinions here are my own and are not influenced in any way.

I haven’t been using this very long. I have only had it for a couple days. I purchased this because I have been told that they work wonders on stretch marks. I am hoping that it will minimize mine. Not that I want to take them all away, they are beauty marks from having four beautiful children. However, I would appreciate if they were less visible from a mile away haha.

The theory of this roller is to create thousands of tiny puncture wounds to the skin which induces the release of growth factors that stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin. Creating dermal damage without removal of the healthy epidermis, as with other resurfacing techniques, means the healing time is rapid and does not cause any comparable discomfort.
In addition to this, after you have used this roller, it opens up your skin to accept whatever cream or cleanser you are going to use (if you use one). This means that the serum, lotion, cream etc, will get into your skin, and penetrate better, hopefully causing better results.

These come in numerous sizes (of needles). It is recommended that you talk to your doctor or dermatologist before using this. Also, make sure to clean this FREQUENTLY as stated on the package instructions.

These help with pore reduction, stretch marks, wrinkles, damaged tissue, etc. I can’t wait until I start seeing results.

USB Essential Oil Diffuser For Aromatherapy & Lemon Oil review.

OMG. I love this little thing! Okay, so excuse me. I am a little over excited about my new USB Nano Diffuser. In the past, I have only had candle diffusers. This is my first real diffuser. When it arrived, I was shocked at how tiny it was. I expected it to be about the size of a coaster. However. It is about 2″ square and maybe a quarter inch thick. It’s white with a black surface. It comes with a micro USB cord, so that you can plug it into whatever device you want. I happen to have a few extra plug adapters as well that I could use (the plugs that a USB plugs into). Although I decided to plug it into my computer, since I was sitting here writing it’s review.

I immediately read the instructions as I didn’t want to screw anything up. This comes neatly packed in a box, with the charger, instructions and diffuser papers packed in another box inside the bigger box. I was happy that it came with diffuser papers as well. Which upon readin the instructions I found that they can be reused! Score!!! I will just have to figure out a system to mark each one with the scent previously used on it, so that I don’t mix scents!

The first thing I did was plug in the diffuser. I immediately noticed that it has a blue LED light to show you that it is on and working. I love that! Then after reading the instructions some more. I pulled out one little diffuser paper and placed it on the black square (you cannot tell above, because it is already wet). Then I placed 2 drops of oil on the diffuser paper. It immediately soaked up every last little bit and made the paper almost invisible. Within seconds the room was filled with an amazing smell!

This was so very easy!! When I am done with it for the night I figure I will place the used diffuser paper in a ziplock baggie (I will make a mental note to get a hold of some of them small jewelry ziplocks, for future diffuser paper holding..  GENIUS!! haha) Anywho as I was saying. I will place it aside, so if I use the same scent on another day, I can use the same paper. It states that it will have some warmth when first unplugging, so I will place it in a safe place, and then wipe it down tomorrow with a damp paper towel to get any oil residue off of it. I’m sure I will be using this on a daily basis. The BONUS is, our car stereo (and our cig lighter charger as well come to think of it) has a USB port on it. We have two large dogs who like to stink up the place, so when we go on long car rides I can totally take this with, use it in the car and not have to worry about getting oil everywhere, or having vent clips or anything of the like. I LOVE this diffuser!!! I received this diffuser for the purpose of an honest review. All opinions above are mine and mine alone and are not influenced in any way.

Now for Part 2 of this review :D The oil I used. I recently received Lemon Oil from Majestic Pure for the purpose of an honest review. (All opinions of this oil are mine and mine alone and are not influenced in any way) I thought this would be the perfect time to use it! I loved the size of this essential oil bottle! Most bottles I find are super small, so I have to ‘refil’ my stash quite frequently. However, this is a 4 FL Oz. bottle, so I will not have to worry about this for a while.

This bottle is dark in color to protect it from the elements which I also love. In addition to that, it came with its own dropper to use when needed. I immediately opened the bottle, and replaced the standard cap with the dropper, as that will be more efficient for me.

I placed two drops out of the dropper on the diffuser paper and INSTANTLY my living room was filled with a wonderful pleasant lemon scent. I describe this as more of a lemon drop scent rather than actual lemon. It’s more of a candy smell than a citrus smell, and I love it. It reminds me of my grandmother, who always kept a bowl of lemon drops on the counter for us kids. It’s relaxing and sentimental for me. I highly recommend it!

Fractionated Coconut Oil Review

So ever since I started reviewing, and we got moved, My essential oil ‘kick’ or some would say obsession.. Has grown tremendously. I started doing more research on what oils to use for this and that. I quickly learned (by reading instead of trial and error, thank goodness), that you should dilute Essential oils before placing them on your skin, and sometimes before putting in a diffuser.

I was taught that Fractionated Coconut oil was the way to go. I have gone through one whole bottle already, but I think I spilled more than I actually used. When I would pour it, it would dribble down the side. So when this company offered their product free for review, I jumped all over it. It’s in a dark bottle (and I am told that is the way to go for oils), and IT COMES WITH A PUMP!! That was one of the top selling points for me! This pump has made my oil-life so much easier! I don’t dribble it when I am using it. None of it gets wasted. It’s amazing how much easier the pump makes my life!

I use this fractionated coconut oil to dilute the oils before putting them on my skin. This makes it so that the oil doesn’t cause a rash due to the potency. Which is possible. When mixed with this colorless and odorless fractionated coconut oil, it dilutes it, but doesn’t get rid of the smell of the original essential oil. This is perfect if you want to wear a little dab of oil as if it were perfume, or if you want to use it for a massage on any part of your body.

I also dilute the SUPER strong smelling oils before putting them in my diffuser. This is great because then it is not so strong as to give me a headache, but I still get the smell.

Overall I highly recommend this product to anyone who deals with essential oils!

Beauty Lashious Pink Eyelash Curler Review

I received a Beauty Lashious Pink Eyelash Curler for the purpose of an honest review. All opinions here are my own and are not influenced in any way.

Prior to receiving this, I had tried to use an eyelash curler in the past. I had troubles with it, and it hurt to use it. I have read horror stories about folks actually losing their eyelashes from using eyelash curlers, so I was afraid to ever try again.

However, upon receiving this. I noticed how well it was constructed, and that it had padding on the curler part. It is very sturdy looking and feeling, and seems like it will last me a long while before needing replaced. I also love that they are spring loaded. So after curling my eyelashes, all I have to do is let off pressure, and they open right up! That, to me is a big bonus since I have arthritis and using these, and having to open them myself can be a pain sometimes. Because of all of this, I decided to give it a go.

When I used this, the first thing I noticed was the grips on the handle. They were comfortable, and easy to hang onto. They didn’t slip out of my hand. They don’t have the rings that some do, so my fat fingers don’t get stuck in the handle of them when trying to curl my eyelashes. The padding on the crimp part of the curler, made it more comfortable to use, and didn’t pinch my eyelashes like normal. It curled them perfectly! The opening is large enough that I can get my eyelashes in and I don’t have any issues.

This curls my eyelashes perfectly, without any issue. Which is great since I wear glasses on a daily basis. It keeps my eyelashes from rubbing my glasses and getting mascara all over them. I haven’t ever been pleased with a product like I am with this one. It’s so easy to use! I mean really. And it curbs all my fear about the horror stories of ripping out or cutting off eyelashes when using a curler. It is so very gentle with my eyelashes, I have no worries when I use it!

Nura Natural Organic Cold Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil Review.

I love this oil for many reasons. It comes carefully packed in a pretty green box, held in very well, so that it does not leak or spill in the process of shipping. I like the box enough that if I were to give this as a gift, I would do so in it’s original packaging.
When I first opened the bottle, I noticed a light ‘woodsy’ smell. Not overpowering but very subtle. I loved this. Obviously if you’re going to put something on your face, you’ll want to like the smell, at the very least. It didn’t give me a headache like some oils do… It’s actually a calming smell.

I love that it comes in a dark bottle, and with it’s own dropper. Applying to my face was easy as pie because of the dropper. It’s not sticky or oily (yes it is an oil, but it doesn’t leave an oily residue) and leaves my face smelling good, and smooth.

It replenishes dry skin so quickly, I was simply amazed at how fast it works. I deal with dryness a lot, and my skin drank this oil right up and looked and felt so much better after doing so! No more dry skin for me!!

I am hoping that after a few weeks of using, I can report back and tell you that it truly did diminish scars and stretch marks as it is supposed to. We will find out!!

Tweez’em Stainless Steel Tweezers Review

Today I received the Tweez’em Stainless Steel Tweezers by Majestic Bombay. I received these for the purpose of an honest review. All opinions in this post are that of my own, and are not influenced in any way.

I was pleasantly surprised upon opening the package and realizing that these tweezers were huge! They are about the size of my palm. This means that I can hold onto them without dropping them or getting frustrated due to the size They fit perfectly in my hand and have a large enough surface that I can keep a hold of them, and they won’t try to flip out of my unstable hands while I am trying to pull a hair.

 

 The next thing that surprised me was exactly how detailed the tip of these tweezers are. They are very very fine pointed which means you have a better chance of getting JUST that one hair that is driving you nuts. They grip very well as well. Most won’t keep a hold of the hair, but let me tell you these will!!!

Overall these are amazing tweezers and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a pair for pulling hairs/ingrown hairs. They are very good quality and worth the money.
