I was so excited when I got accepted to do an unboxing & review of the Send Me Gluten Free Subscription box.
I personally have Fibro, and my husband recently had a heart attack, so we are trying to eat better anyway. Going gluten free, I have heard, is an amazing change in diet. Yes it can be hard, but I am told that we will feel MUCH better after doing so.

Yeah, you read that right... MEAT chips... I had the same look on my face when I heard about them as well. However, I HAD to try them!

I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about these. I mean, when I think 'meat chips' I think of like beef jerky in a sense. This is FAR from what they are.
Think of a tortilla chip, but bursting with flavor. All sorts of flavors that you can't quite pinpoint. That's how these are to me. They are like a tortilla chip, without all the grease and fattening ingredients. These chips are made with chicken (so you get PROTIEN!! FROM A CHIP!!!), corn masa flour, and sunflower oil. Along with whatever seasonings go with the flavor. Even better, these are gluten free! As my son said "They taste different, almost weird, but really really good".
We had all four bags gone within a day between my son, my husband and myself. Of course we had to try them all. Then, once we started we couldn't stop!

This contains ONE bag of all four flavors. So if you are on the fence about buying a big ol box of these chips, you can try one bag of each, and then decide for yourself what you like best!
The four flavors they make are Ranch, Nacho, Peppered and Salsa. We tried the peppered first.
Peppered are full of flavor, and a bit spicy. Not hot sauce spicy, but peppery as they should be. You can taste the chicken, but you can also taste the yummy peppery flavor. These tie for my favorite, between this and Salsa.
Salsa is just that. It has a very subtle salsa flavor. They are rather delicious, and just what you would expect from a salsa chip. They aren't too spicy, and are flavored with just the right amount of seasoning.
Ranch is my second favorite. They have a very subtle ranch taste. Not overpowering, but not underpowering either. Again, with the other chips, you can taste the chicken, but you also get that tortilla chip flavor too!
Last but not least, Nacho. The only problem I have with these, is I couldn't taste as much nacho flavor as I would have liked. You can tell the flavor is there, but there isn't enough of it for me. I would have wanted MORE flavor. They almost tasted plain to me.
These chips are great. They are bold flavored with chicken. They fill you up because they are loaded with protein. They are SO MUCH better for you because they don't have all that processed crud in them that most chips do, and they are filled with flavor! I will for sure be ordering more!! I highly recommend these!!
I had never tried flavored peanut butter before in my life. I know.. Sheltered life huh? LOL. I was super excited to try this. I love butter toffee and I love peanut butter. What could go wrong, eh?
Upon getting this, I opened it up and realized it was VERY liquid like. That is okay. I know the ingredients separate when it sits for too long. I proceeded to grab a butter knife and mix it up better. (Well, technically my husband did while I took video for this very review :D) The solid portion of this was very thick and hard in the bottom of the jar. I imagine this is because it had been sitting for so long. After a bit of mixing though, it became the consistency of regular peanut butter.
I didn't get a chance to eat any on crackers or bread yet, but I did take a spoon full of this (I do the same with regular peanut butter LOL), and taste it and OMGOODNESS! This Butter Toffee PB is the BOMB! It is full of flavor and makes me want more! It tastes like regular peanut butter with a butter toffee kick. It's not overwhelming with flavor, just right.
The ingredients are natural! I can actually read and pronounce ever ingredient on the jar with ease. I hate purchasing something, and not being able to tell what is in it. It's horrible! Not with this though! It's fantastic to know what I am putting in my body!
Overall this is a fantastic peanut butter and I recommend it to any PB lovers. I am going to try to find the perfect jelly to pair this with, but I do love that it is so flavorful, that you don't HAVE to have jelly with it on your sandwich! Y'all really need to try this!

I recently received this Thermometer for the purpose of an honest, unbiased review. All opinions you read here, are my own, and are not influenced in any way. There are SEVERAL things I love about this thermometer. My favorite part about it is the fact that it has a case. On this case, is the temperatures for Beef, Pork and Poultry. Rare, Medium and Well done as well. I have recently dove into cooking more, and experimenting with new recipes and such. Therefore, I have become quite the temperature cooker. That way I don’t have to cut into the meat and dry it out, I can just check the temp. Well I have been having to look up the temps quite frequently, because I forget. This will save me so much time! Another great feature about the cover, is that it snaps into place, and when you take it off the thermometer, you can snap it on the other end (like a marker cap). This way you don’t lose it. The thermometer is big and easy to hold as well. I do love how big the buttons are on this. I don’t have to use a pen to push them because they are big enough for my fingers. Thank goodness for that! You can switch between C and F with ease. You have hold, max and set buttons also.
My next favorite feature on this, is the Light! We BBQ a lot. Even in the off seasons. So when it’s getting dark earlier, and there are tons of bugs, we don’t have to have the porch light on to be able to see the thermometer when we are grilling. Another bonus for us.
This, by far, is one of the best thermometers I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. It really is well built, and has some pretty great features. I highly recommend this to any cook! This would make a great Father’s Day present as well!!

I received this Ice Ball Maker for the purpose of an honest review. All opinions are my own and are not influenced in any way.
I love how strong and sturdy this ice ball maker is. It’s made out of a thick silicone. It doesn’t seem like it will tear, or fall apart after a few uses. It’s very very strong. This ice maker is super easy to fill, and even easier to get apart after the water freezes. You simply fill it up, place the lid in the top. I then squeeze it a TINY bit to make sure it lets out excess water, so that it won’t over flow. Then I cover the holes in the top with my fingers, and dump the water out of the top of the tray. After freezing, when it’s time to remove the ice balls, I just pull the top off the tray and pull the ice balls right out of the mold. There is no issue at all. IF you overfill it, and there are little plugs on the top of the mold, where the overflow holes are, all you have to do is snap them off, and the lid will come off just fine. The mold makes four ice balls, and they last me about 2-3 drinks depending on how warm it is in the house, or outside. You can’t really say how long they will last, because the liquid, and the temperature will vary in every situation. Overall I am super satisfied with this Ice ball maker, and I would recommend it to anyone. If you would like to purchase this, you can do so HERE
I have absolutely fallen in love with these Whiskey Stones. I use them in everything now. From water, to soda, to whiskey. They are the bomb diggity. (yeah I know, cheesy rhyme).
I find these whiskey stones most awesome because they comes in a nice case to store them in. I keep them in the freezer inside this case, to protect them from spills and such in the freezer. They also come with their own tongs, which is awesome as well! This came with 4 large soapstone cubes, and 4 stainless steel cubes.
I was afraid to use these at first, because I was afraid the soapstone ones would alter the flavor of the drink. However, this was not the case. When I first received these, I washed them first, as the soapstones are dusty and had gotten them all dusty. After putting them in the freezer overnight, I decided to try them in water first thing, to make sure it won’t flavor the water. It didn’t and I was happy about that! They lasted for quite some time in my water and kept it so very cold. My next venture was to put them in soda. I used the stainless steel ones in the soda, as I just feel weird putting soapstone in my soda. IDK why, I just do. The stainless steel ones, lasted for about four cups of soda, before starting to get a bit warmer, and I then rinsed them and put them back in the case in the freezer. My husband has used them all in whiskey, and they last for several drinks as well. He loves them!
How long they will last in your drink, depends on your climate, and your drink I assume. There is no way of telling how long they will last, there are just too many things that could alter that.

I was recently chosen to review the Pratisphere Ice Sphere molds. All opinions are my own, and are not influenced in any way.
There were four in the package. These are amazing little molds. They stack easily if needed for in your freezer.
When you get these the first thing you want to do is wash them, as with any new kitchen tool. These ice sphere molds have a ‘fill’ line inside. Which is very handy. If you over fill, there is a hole in the lid, so that the overflow will go out the lid, instead of blowing the top off while freezing. After filling the ice sphere mold to the line, you place the lid on, and put it in the freezer for a few hours. It will take awhile for these to freeze, as it’s a large ball of ice.
Once frozen, you run it under water for a few to help break the ice sphere loose. Easy as pie. These spheres are awesome! As are the molds. They are made of strong plastic, and will hold up as long as you use them properly.
When I run water across them I do so after letting it sit out on the counter for a few minutes. Hopefully that will help keep me from breaking the molds while they are frozen. I run the water across the bottom of it while holding it upside down. It doesn’t take long to break the sphere loose.
The lids are made of silicone, and are easy to pop off the top without issue.
The ice sphere that comes out of the mold is big enough for a whiskey glass or larger. Anything smaller, it won’t fit. Depending on the climate you are in, and what you are drinking, it will last a bit. I find when I drink soda or whiskey from the fridge/freezer it lasts for 3-4 drinks. When I drink water, it seems to melt much faster. And of course, if I am outside in the heat, or if it is warmer in the house, it won’t last that long either.
Overall I LOVE these ice sphere molds, and I recommend them. They don’t take up much space in the freezer, much less than an ice cube tray, and they last longer.

This past weekend we were given the opportunity to try New Brick Oven pizza by Red Baron. BzzAgent sent us a coupon for a free pizza, for the purpose of an honest review. For our first Pizza we chose Sausage Supreme. It was absolutely delicious! It has this pizza sauce that is a bit sweet, but not too sweet. It was on this yummy seasoned crust. I am not sure exactly what seasoning was on this crust, but it was so flavorful that I couldn’t get enough of it!!! The toppings were bold, flavorful green peppers (I normally don’t like green peppers, but these were delicious), semi crispy onions and it was paired with this flavor bursting savory sausage that was to die for. The combination of the ingredients was just perfect!! All of them together creating a flavor bomb in your mouth. Amazing! I was so surprised when taking my first bite! I seriously cannot pick my favorite part about this pizza. It’s better than restaurant pizza. It’s better than any store bought pizza I have ever tried as well. For those who do not like supreme pizza. I have never liked it. EVER! I highly recommend you try this one though. I quickly fell in love with the amazing flavors! The second Red Baron Brick oven pizza that we tried (Full price because we wanted to try two of them) was the Meat Trio. It has a bit less sweeter sauce. More like a normal pizza sauce. It had savory sausage, greasy pepperoni (because we all love greasy pepperoni!) and ham. The ham, in my opinion was kind of bland. It didn’t taste funny, or horrible, it just didn’t seem to have much flavor. However, the sausage and pepperoni made up for that. I would have loved to have seen bacon on this as well, and it been made just an all out meatlovers. I think that bacon would have rounded it out well. The cheese was flavorful as well. This crust was crispy, but wasn’t seasoned like the other crust, so I didn’t like it quite as much. Overall the pizza was rich in flavor, however, I didn’t favor it as much as the supreme. I highly recommend these pizzas over any other frozen pizzas I have ever tried. They are pretty danged good! You can usually find them in your local store. Check it out. You’ve got nothing to lose!
