This hand cream is simply amazing.

Upon receiving I placed it on my dry and cracking hands. I noticed that it immediately soaked in, and didn’t leave a greasy residue like most hand creams, this is great, because as you know, that greasy residue, can leave you feeling dirty. It has a light, pleasant scent, that I can’t quite describe. Not flowery, not sweet, but maybe a mixture of both. It is not overwhelming, but just right.

It’s a perfect sized bottle to carry with me. The texture of the lotion is very very creamy, not watery. I really do love it.

I’ve applied this every day to my hands and forearms. Usually about twice a day, unless I wash my hands a lot, or do dishes a lot. Then I have to apply it more. Ace Acupressure Ear Magnets Review

These Ear Magnets are intended to help with so very much.

The two biggest reasons that I jumped all over this promotion were for smoking cessation and weight loss. The third main reason, was headaches. I deal with severe migraines, and if these can help, I'll be in heaven! The anxiety relief isn't such a bad idea for me either. They LOOKED easy to use, and was supposed to come with an eBook instructing me how to do so.

I thought these would work well for me, when I seen the photo. They looked like little discs, small, but mighty, you know? When I received them, I was sad that they turned out to be these little pin point magnet balls. Very small. Stuck on surgical tape. NOTHING like what they were shown to be in the photos. I was a bit upset that they weren't the discs that were shown, but after contacting the seller, they changed the photos, so that others won't be mislead. This is good.

I then had to figure out how to use them on my own, as the eBook never came. I still haven't gotten it. Thankfully there is a lot of information on the internet about the pressure points in your ears, for these magnets.

The surgical tape that they come on DOES NOT stick to my ear well. I have cleaned with alcohol, soap and water you name it. Made sure my ear was dry before applying. This is because I have a very oily type of skin I am guessing. Not 100% sure though. They stuck to my sons ears just fine.  He's young and doesn't have the oily skin issue yet, LOL. Absolutely no issues at all. Make sure to clean and dry your ears well before applying them.

The little bit that I have been able to warn them, and from what he told me when I applied to his ear, they aren't very noticeable. You can't even tell that they are in/on your ear. Therefore they are comfortable. He forgot he even had on in. After 2 days, we removed it, as I have read every few days to replace them, with a break in between. Obviously you want to give your ears a break, and not wear them 24/7/365.

The magnets are in little trays, with the tape along the tray. That way you don't lose the ones you aren't using, before you get a chance to use them. They are already stuck to the tape, so you don't have to worry about applying it that way. Just peel the little square of tape off, with the magnet already stuck to it, and pick a place to apply to your ear. Simple as pie. Lather, rinse, repeat every few days.

I go see my doctor in a couple weeks, and going to talk to her to see if we can find something that will make them stick to my ears. Maybe she will have some ideas. If any of y'all have had this issue and you have ideas, please share them with me! I'd love to use these more to help with my quitting smoking and aid in my losing weight. I will update when/if I figure something out for those of us with this issue!

So I’ve heard all the hype over Argan Oil, and finally decided to give it a shot.

There are many many uses for Argan Oil. Hair, Nails, Dry & Cracked Skin, Face Moisturizer and many more! I have decided to use this for my dry and cracked skin. I wear flip flops a lot, and my feet are so very dry and peeling. Sometimes it hurts BAD.

Upon getting this oil, I applied a generous amount on my feet. I then put on some super soft fluffy socks to help keep the oil on my feet, and went to bed. When I woke in the morning, after the first night, my feet were soft. They were still cracked (you can’t expect perfection over night), but they didn’t hurt near as bad. I didn’t even have an oily residue left on my skin after that either. It all soaked in well overnight. I’ve used it for 4 nights now, and slowly, but surely, the cracks in my feet are subsiding, and they are becoming soft and silky smooth again.

I plan on trying this on my hair next as I have read that it leaves your hair soft and silky after using as a leave in conditioner over night.

Emma the Elephant Plush Toy Review

This stuffed toy is absolutely adorable!

Emma is fat and plump. She's so squishy and soft. Fluffy and fuzzy. I love her big ol eyes, and her anteater looking snout.  Her big ol' dumbo like ears are adorable as well. She's very easy to love and hug. I am sure she has many years of cuddling coming her way. She stands up on her own with no issues. She's got a big ol smile on her face as well. I mean she is  REALLY adorable.

I am giving her to my daughter for her birthday in a couple weeks, and I am afraid my boys will want to fight over her. Heck my husband and I want one for ourselves LOL.

This is really great for a child of any age. I feel it might be a bit large for a small infant, but not too big for a toddler or older child.

I am totally loving this charger! I have seen several portable chargers all over the internet before. I wasn't sure what the hype was all about until I received one myself. I only wish I had gotten one sooner.

When we go out and about my husband uses his 3G a lot, which in turn, runs his battery down rather quickly. He's always needing the charger in the van. If we aren't near it, then he's screwed lol.

Now, I can charge this portable charger up at home, and carry it in my purse with me. When his battery runs low, we can just plug it right on in and charge up the phone. My son can also use it on the tablet!

It's great. You just charge it at home with a normal charger. Then you carry it with you. It comes with the cord you need to charge your phone when on the go. I am purchasing a little carry pouch to keep it in, so that it stays together when in my bag. It doesn't get warm or anything, and is made very well. I believe it will last for quite some time.

Overall I love it, and it suits our lifestyle very well. I recommend for anyone who's needing to charge their phone on the go, when they can't be near a plug in anywhere.

+LIFEGUARD Car Charger 2.1A Review

This is a handy little tool. Prior to getting this, my son and I would fight over the charger in the van. He would always need it. I would always need it. We would have to take turns using it, charging the phone up a bit, then passing it onto the other.

Now that we have this, we don't have to do that anymore. We can plug in both our USB charger cords, and charge away without issue. I love that with this, you can use your own cord. Instead of a standard cord. This means that you can use a super long cord, like my son does, to reach in the back seat if needed.

This has a bit of texture around the top of it, which means you can get a good grip on it when plugging it in or unplugging it. Instead of being slick all around. This is a bonus because it's a tight fit, as you want it to be. It might be hard to unplug if not for that.

The charger is the perfect size and is made very well. I think it will last for quite some time. Overall I love this charger and it saves us time, and a 'fight' over the cord LOL. I recommend this.

LEABAGS - " Charlotte " Review

This wallet is AMAZINGLY awesome. It is made of a very nice soft leather.

It has several card holders, which is my absolute favorite feature. I always run out of card slots when I buy a new wallet. They never seem to have enough! There are 6 in the front, 6 in the flap, and 6 inside. It also has a zipper pouch inside, that is divided into two sections. When sliding my cards in and out, they didn't catch at all. This is a problem with most wallets. Either the card slot is too small, and the card catches, or it's such a tight fit, that you can't get your card out of it. This is not an issue with the Charlotte wallet from LeaBags! It also has a flap behind the inside card holder, and a zipper pouch on the back.

It snaps closed when needed, and the snap seems to be very sturdy. It is stitched very well and seems like it will withstand my regular wear and tear. When I purchase a wallet, I look for something that will last quite a while. I check the stitching, and the snaps and zippers. I make sure they seem sturdy. I don't want something losing it's snap after a week, or the zipper busting out of. THIS wallet is a perfect example of what I search for when I go shopping for a wallet.

I highly recommend this wallet to anyone looking for a new one. It's large enough that you don't even have to carry your purse if you don't wish to, but small enough to toss in your purse if you do. The brown leather is very classy looking, sleek and soft. I really do think you will fall in love with this!

I’ve been taking Garcinia for a while now. I have seen no negative side effects. There is no bad interaction with my regular medications. The capsules are easy to swallow. The bottle is easy to open. There are 180 capsules in the bottle. Which is awesome. I take 2 caps before a meal, twice per day WITH water on an empty stomach. They suggest 30 minutes before a meal. Sometimes I hit that mark, sometimes it’s 20 or 40. Depends on when I remember LOL.

These really do suppress my appetite. I don’t find myself feeling hungry as often when taking them. I also don’t want to eat as much because of that/them. I am a MEGA foodie, so this is a good thing for me. I am one of those who will eat because it tastes good, not because I am hungry. Big bonus for me here!

Garcinia Cambogia is is a appetite suppressant. It can help aid in weight loss, and provide extra energy. Every bit of research I have done say one thing. TRUE Garcinia Cambogia should contain 1500-1600mg of the GC Extract, Potassium, and AT LEAST 60% HCA or more. THAT’S IT. Nothing more.

These Capsules contain 1000mg of Garcinia, which is a little short from what I have read. They contain 60% HCA, and 50mg Potassium. However these also contain Calcium Carbonate and Chromium. From what I have read those don’t do anything bad. That just means that these capsules are not 100% pure, and not top of the line. Good, but not great. I have not had any issues with them, I still lose weight No bad side effects, and who couldn’t use a little more calcium in their system??

WebMD states that Garcinia CAN cause nausea, digestive tract discomfort, and headache. I have found that almost all diet pills/appetite suppressants have these side effects. I have chronic headaches with or without taking anything. I haven’t had the frequency of my headaches change, but I do still get headaches as I did before. So I cannot honestly tell you if this causes them or not. I haven’t had an upset stomach or digestive issues though.

Regardless of if you choose to take this or not, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS (I cannot stress this enough) consult with your doctor before taking any diet supplements. AZSPORT Waist Trimmer Review

I like this better than I thought I would. I have seen these waist trimmers all over, but never used one before. I haven’t been using this very long, so I haven’t seen any ‘trimming’ done yet. However, I can tell you what I do know about it.

Upon opening this, I was shocked at how small it was. The photos make it look like it is much bigger than it is. It’s only about 6″-8″ wide. I was also worried by it’s length. When I first held it up around me, it seemed NO WHERE near big enough for me to use. However, upon wrapping it around myself and pulling it tight, to attach the ends, I had no issue at all. It felt like a hug to be honest when wrapped around me. It was more comfortable than I thought it would be. I couldn’t believe how comfortable it was! Plus, it’s soft on the inside! (the part that goes against your skin)

I can move comfortably while wearing this, without any issues at all. Even with how wide it is, I have no issues. I plan on wearing this as much as possible. It feels good when on, and provides back support as well.

AZSPORT Kinesiology Tape Review

I recently received this Kinesio tape for reviewing. I was super excited to try this. I have Fibro, and arthritis, so I deal with Chronic pain on a daily basis. My husband works in the oil fields and deals with tired and over stressed muscles all the time.

Kinesiology tape is supposed to help relieve pain in your sore joints and muscles. It’s supposed to help detour you from traditional taping (if you’re a sportster). It’s also been known to help speed up recovery after surgery. I’ve read in several places that this tape can be worn for 5-ish days as well. Which is awesome.

The tape, to me, feels like a bandaid. It’s made out of the stretchy bandaid like material, and sticks just as well. VERY sticky! Also, it is one continuous roll. The paper backing on the tape roll, has lines, to help guide you while cutting to size. This is great in my opinion, and totally helped with cutting it the way I needed to.

When I received this, I was a bit disappointed. There was no instructions, or tips what so ever with the package. Not to let that detour me from using it, I called my doctor, who told me I could look up videos on YouTube to find out where/how to apply this for what pain.

We did just that. My husband deals with SEVERE pain in his rotator cuff, so that is what we searched videos for. I found several, and they were all very easy. They showed how to cut the tape, approximately how long each piece should be, and how to apply it for maximum relief. There are certain points to attach the end to, and you are supposed to stretch it a certain amount, and stick it to a specific part, depending on what you are applying the tape for. For his rotator cuff issues, I found that he was supposed to have it up the length of his upper arm, and around his shoulder, as well as across his upper arm. (see photo)

So we watched the video, as I measured and cut the tape. Pausing as we went, and watching more to apply the tape etc. I stretched it as they said, ran it the direction it was supposed to be. We got it all applied, and waited to see what happened.

This DID NOT provide instant relief as stated in the advertising. In fact even after wearing for 24 hours, this provided NO RELIEF AT ALL. We were both very disappointed with the results. It was more annoying than anything according to my husband. Not to mention, even though it is very sticky (and even though we followed all directions I found online), this didn’t stick well on the ends. It kept wanting to peel up, and we kept having to push it down. Again, NO RELIEF AT ALL.

So after 24 hours of wearing this with ZERO relief my husband got tired of pushing the ends down and dealing with the annoyance, and we decided to remove it. I pulled on the end of the tape, and he said it felt like it was ripping his skin off, on the parts where it actually stuck well. So we tried fast, and that was worse. Therefore I started working it off following with a wet rag, to soothe the skin as I pulled it off. After removing the tape, his skin was super red and irritated where it was pulled off. We assumed that was because of pulling off something that was so stuck to his skin. It’s now been 3 days since we removed it, and he still has a rash where the tape was. In addition to that he has a line, that looks like a scar, instead of a rash, where the tape was. (see photo)

All in all, we didn’t like this tape. I am SO VERY GLAD I didn’t use it on myself, after seeing his reaction. I have sensitive skin, and I would have had 10 times the issues with a rash/scar than he did. I personally wouldn’t recommend this. I don’t know if it is the brand, or the tape in general, or what. I’ve read a lot of good reviews and news on this, so maybe it just didn’t work for us. However, this is our experience. One in a million I am sure.

This bottle is A-freakin-Mazing!!! I absolutely love it. I have ONE small complaint. I wish it held more drink. Other than that it is so awesome. It’s made of stainless steel. It has a flip top lid. The lid has a handle on it which is awesome. It came with 2 straws and a card inside. This card entitles you to to email for a cozie that is special made for the bottle. Which I found absolutely awesome!!

Upon receiving this bottle, I immediately washed it out, and used it. I put soda in it. We went to the kids playday, and was there for a few hours. Maybe 3-4 hours. When I came back out to my car, which had been sitting in the humidity all day, the water bottle was still cold (this was before I even got the cozie for it!). I didn’t have ice inside, just cold soda to begin with. I couldn’t believe it was still cold after that long of sitting in a hot car! Although, keep in mind, the mouth piece IS big enough to put ice inside!

Another favorite feature is that when you flip the mouthpiece closed, it doesn’t leak. When it is open, you don’t have to tip to drink, because of the straw. Bigger bonus, it fits in my cup holder in my van. So I don’t have to just lay it on the floor or anything.

I am serious, I just love this thing! I was more impressed when the cozie came in, that it came with a straw brush! With it being stainless steel, I believe it will last quite some time, and not be able to be destroyed by my kids!

First off, let me say these bibs are the cutest darned things I’ve ever seen. I’m a country gal, so these country bandana themed bibs are perfect.

They are adjustable, two different snaps. It’s not much, but it means that you can use them on a very young infant, or a little bit older baby. Then you can wash them up and hand em on down. They are very nicely made, and seem very sturdy. The top layer is made of cotton, and semi soft. It will protect your baby from spills.

The second layer is made of polyester and omg so soft! If you are like me and remove your child’s shirt before dinner, then they will be snuggling up to this super soft bib while they eat. Heck, *I* wanna snuggle up to it! LOL

Musical Memories?

So here lately, I have been listening to a lot of music. I used to do so all the time. Somehow, over the last few years, I have drifted away from it. I didn't even think about as to why I don't listen to it anymore. My husband would come home, and play a song that he heard at work, that he though I would like. Other than that, I didn't play it much at home.

When I say I used to all the time, I mean there would ALWAYS be music playing. In the house, in the shop, in the car.

While listening the last few days, and scrolling through some old playlists, I quickly started to realize why I don't listen as much anymore. Musical memories. This shouldn't change how I feel about music. I've let it do just that though.

As the old saying (or song) goes. "Ain't it funny how a melody can bring back a memory? Take you to another place and time." This is sooooooo very true. You could be sitting there happy as can be, and when that certain song comes on, your mood can shift so very quickly.

As anyone I am sure, I have those songs that instantly perk me up. Wake me up. Make me want to dance and play. Put a smile on my face. Make me laugh when I think about something that happened associated to that song. However, I also have those songs that can instantly piss me off. Put me in a horrible mood. Make me cry. Songs we've heard in the past, during any kind of event, will almost always make us thing of said event when they play.

For instance. I have one particular song, that I cannot for the life of me remember the name of, or most of the lyrics to. A boyfriend sent me the song on a tape when I was away at Military school my freshman year. He sent it because he missed me, and because our best friend had passed away while I was gone. I will forever recognize that song when/if it plays on the radio. As soon as the melody starts playing, before any words are out, I will think of Robert and Nicole. I will miss them, and feel bad that I was not there for Nicole's funeral.

I remember songs that played at parties in high school. Or shortly there after. Songs that make me think of my friends who I don't get to see or talk to near as much. Or some of the stupid stupid stupid crap we did growing up, LOL.

I have at least 2 dozen songs, that when I hear them, make me laugh and smile. Songs that when they would come on the radio in the car, my kids would BELT out like never before. The whole car would instantly be filled with my beautiful children's voices and be upbeat and happy. I can always hear their voices even if they aren't with me when those songs come on the radio. When they are with me, they STILL belt them out. Years later. Songs that were their 'first' song they ever sang. Ones they knew ever word to, and I would catch them singing with no radio while they were cleaning their room or playing. I will never forget those songs, and I will always associate them with my children. Until the day I die.

Then there are those songs that remind me of my exes. Good times and bad. The songs that make you think 'what if?'. What if you had done things differently? What if you hadn't done something? What if they had done things differently, or not done something they did? Would things be different or would they be the same? What if they hadn't taken a certain job? Or what if they had taken that job? If something wouldn't have happened, would you be where you are today? Would you have what you have today? What if you had never met them?

There are also those songs that remind you of the fantastic times. When my current spouse and I met, we were playing a game called Second Life. We would go to clubs in world, and dance. There are so many songs that I associate with him and I. Some make me shake my head and think 'what the hell?!' Others make me laugh and smile. Some of those make me think 'what if?' as well. I remember the songs we listened to as we traveled from state to state, unsure of what was going to happen next, or where we would end up. I remember the songs that were playing on the radio when we sold the house and had the music playing in the background. I remember the first song we ever danced to. The songs we listened to coming here to Kansas.

Every song I ever knew has some kind of memory tied to it. At one point in my life, I refused to listen to certain songs because of that. Then I figured, Why?? I mean really. That is a part of my life! The good and the bad. You can't change the past. You can only remember or forget it. Why would you want to forget something that made you who you are today? Yes it might be painful, however, YOU MADE IT THROUGH. If you hear that song, you should be proud! Be proud that you made it through that painful time. Or that you have a memory of that great time. I have tons and tons and tons of songs in my music library. Each one has some kind of memory, big or small, that made me who I am today. In the years to come, I plan to add more to my 'Memory Library'.

It's all a part of who we are. Who we've been, and who we will become. I've learned to cherish it, even if it isn't the most pleasant memory.

Silicone Baby Food Freezer Tray & Recipe Ebook Review

I totally wish they had things like this when my babies were little. I am sure my parents think the same thing. There are so many cool things today, that weren't available back then.

I received this silicone baby food freezer tray for reviewing this week, and I must say I personally love it. I plan to give it as a shower gift, however, I tested it out by making ice cubes first.

This thing is super strong. Made of silicone, as the title states. It has a lid, that kind of locks on with little tabs. It's very sturdy, and not as flimsy as I thought it would be when I purchased it. I didn't fill the mold all the way, since water expands. However, if you were making baby food, you could fill it much further than I did. It will stand the test of time, because it is so strong. It's really self explanatory, and so easy to use. No problems what so ever.

One of my favorite features, is the clear lid. If you wanted to do a different food in each row, you could. You would be able to see what is what, through the clear lid as well.

Selfie Stick With Bluetooth Review

Laugh it up. I was one of those who rolled her eyes at the all famous selfie stick hype. When I was offered one for review I figured 'why not?'.

This is actually more interesting than I thought it would be. They send you the selfie stick, the bracket for your phone, cord for charging said selfie stick, and a case to carry it in. The stick is metal with a plastic handle. There is the plug on the bottom of the handle for charging, as well as an on/off switch. Up further on the handle is the button you push to take a picture. At the top is the bolt, which screws into the phone bracket. It's easy to put together, and I had no issues.

I charged it for one hour as suggested. Then I turned it on. The bluetooth light on the bottom is VERY tiny. It didn't take long for my phone to discover it, and connect. I then placed my phone in the bracket and turned on the camera. The top is adjustable for different angles. I adjusted it to where I thought we needed it, and extended the arm.

My only complaint so far is that extending the arm is a pain in the rear. It's metal, and new, so it is very stiff, and hard for me to extend and compact. Other than that. It really is a handy tool. I would use it if I had a large group of people, and no one to take a photo. A couple years ago there was a group of us who were attending concerts. We had to ask people to take our pic, because we couldn't get into a selfie together. This would have been super handy then, as drunk people at a concert, take really crappy pics, lol.

All in all, I won't be using this a lot. However I will be using it, as I said, when we go to family/friend events where there will be a lot of us in a group that we want in a picture. I do recommend it. Teens I am sure will love it.

Garcinia Cambogia Supreme 85% HCA Enhanced Review

I’ve been taking this for a little bit now. I have seen no negative side effects. There is no bad interaction with my regular medications. The capsules are easy to swallow. The bottle is easy to open. There are 120 capsules in the bottle. Which is awesome. I take 2 caps before every meal. 30 minutes to one hour before. This suggests at least once per day, twice for maximum strength. So I am doing the maximum strength dose. So far, I have lost a couple pounds. Nothing drastic. Then again, this is an AID to help you, not a ticket to shedding pounds. You must still diet, and workout, or this will not do the trick.

These really do suppress my appetite. I don’t find myself feeling hungry as often when taking them. I also don’t want to eat as much because of that/them. I am a MEGA foodie, so this is a good thing for me. I am one of those who will eat because it tastes good, not because I am hungry. Big bonus for me here!

Garcinia Cambogia is is a appetite suppressant. It can help aid in weight loss, and provide extra energy. Every bit of research I have done say one thing. TRUE Garcinia Cambogia should contain 1500-1600mg of the GC Extract, Potassium, and AT LEAST 60% HCA or more. THAT’S IT. Nothing more.

These capsules only contain 1100 mg of GC, however, they contain 85% HCA. Also Potassium as recommended (helps with the digestion of GC from what I have read). We can all use a little more potassium in our lives, right? I know I could!

WebMD states that Garcinia CAN cause nausea, digestive tract discomfort, and headache. I have found that almost all diet pills/appetite suppressants have these side effects. I have chronic headaches with or without taking anything. I haven’t had the frequency of my headaches change, but I do still get headaches as I did before. So I cannot honestly tell you if this causes them or not. I haven’t had an upset stomach or digestive issues though.

Regardless of if you choose to take this or not, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS (I cannot stress this enough) consult with your doctor before taking any diet supplements. ESPECIALLY if you are on other medications.

Health Gurus Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor Review

This blood pressure cuff is AMAZING.

I was worried when I ordered it that I would have trouble with it fitting my arm. I am a larger woman, and when I go to the doc office they always have to get a larger cuff. However, this cuff fits my arm with room to spare! Even someone with bulkier arms than I, could easily use this.

It’s pretty self explanatory. I mean it REALLY is as simple as it looks. The cuff has markings to show you where it should line up with your main artery. After you put in the batteries, it has you set the date and time. It has storage for two people. This works great, for myself and my husband. I deal with high blood pressure on a regular basis, and he’s a bit older than I, so I figured this would be great for us.

After placing the cuff on your arm, you choose start, and which user (1 or 2) you’d like to use it for. It will take your pressure and your pulse, then allow you to store it before shutting down. It comes with a beautiful carry case, so that you can keep it all together when you are not using it. I had no issues using this, and it didn’t feel like it was going to chop my arm off either. I highly recommend this cuff to anyone who needs to check their pressure at home.

Facial Sponge – Konjac Sponge With Activated Bamboo Charcoal Review

Upon receiving this sponge, I was a bit afraid of it. It feels like a rock when you get it. I mean hard as a rock, literally. You can’t squeeze it. I thought “Jeesh, and they want me to use this on my face???”…

I decided to give it a try, and read the directions on the back. It tells you to soak the ‘rock’ aka sponge (LOL) in water for a while before using it. Then to make sure to ring it out. I thought to myself “Nothing is going to hydrate this poor thing”.

I was wrong.

After a little bit of soaking, it was as soft as can be. Very squishy instead of the rock that I received in the mail. Okay, so this might work… I decided to use it with my face wash that I use every day. You do not have to use face wash. I just chose to do so. I added a tiny bit, then had to add a little bit more. I was afraid of adding too much, and never being able to rinse it out of the sponge. It didn’t take much in the end. It says to use gentle circle motions. This I did. I was amazed at how clean my skin felt when I was done. Exfoliating scrubs just don’t do the trick! I will never be happy again, unless I keep one of these sponges on hand.

Even hours later, I still feel so clean! The instructions tell you to ‘wring’ out your sponge by putting pressure on it until it’s ‘dry’ then to hang it (it comes with a string through it for hanging), in a well aired place until fully dry.

I am totally pleased with this ‘rock’ of a sponge LOL.. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get their face all pretty and clean!!

Maverick Direct Connect Roasting Thermometer

This little thing is actually better than I thought it would be. The concept is, you download the Maverick RediCheck application on your phone. Then you plug the thermometer into your phone, and keep the plastic holder on the counter. You stick the other end INSIDE the oven, in whatever you are cooking. You can choose in the application on your phone what you are cooking, and if you want it rare, etc. It will have a ‘target temp’ for that specific item. Once it starts climbing temp wise, it will give you a ‘time remaining’ as well. So you know how long it will take to get to that temperature.

This really is an awesome product. Don’t let the instructions fool you in the packet. They say iOS only. However, this DOES work on Android. I found the application in the play store with no issues, and have been using it just fine. What sets this apart from other thermometers, is that it goes in the oven as mentioned. Gives you the target temp, and the time remaining. You don’t have to pull the food out of the oven to check the temp. Just let it cook, and keep an eye on your phone app.

The only downside to this, is if you are cooking something that takes a while, you won’t have use of your phone while doing this. If you have more than one phone in the house OR an old android phone (that can still run on wifi), you can use that! I plan on dragging out our last phones and turning it into my thermometer phone :)

I highly recommend this to anyone! Would be great when smoking meat in a smoker, so you don’t have to open it as often. Or when cooking big turkeys for the holidays, or hams for that matter. It really is an amazing little tool.

Premium Beard Oil Review

So my husband is always sitting there playing with his beard. Most men do. Stroking it, etc. However, I noticed lately he has been combing through it with his fingers, trying to get the knots out. He’s ALWAYS picking knots out of his beard especially as it gets longer.

Not anymore! Not with this beard oil from The Real Man Company. When he gets out of the shower, he puts 4 drops in his hands, and then coats his beard with it. He works it in, until he cannot feel the oil anymore. It does not make his beard look oily or leave a residue of any kind. It didn’t leave much of an oily residue on his hands. What little there was, washed off very easy.

Now his beard is sooooooooo soft, and cuddly. It doesn’t feel as itchy to him, or to me when we kiss or cuddle. I also notice, now he doesn’t pick knots out as often. Just strokes it like any beard man does.

Acrylic Paint Set – Paint Tubes for Artists Review

I am in love! I used to be an artist. Can you ‘used to be’ one? In high school, I skated by on extra curriculars. Mostly in Art. Digital Art, Painting, Drawing, Ink, you name it. I was going to go to college to be an Art Major. Then kids happened. I don’t regret not going, and having my babies instead. I regret not sticking with it anyway. I had a beautiful HUGE art portfolio. Then an ex happened. All my artwork was gone. Every last bit of beautiful paintings, drawings, etc that I had done, gone… I started to lose interest in it. This was 10+ years ago, when I lost interest.

I eventually started kind of getting back into it. Mostly photography. Occasionally drawing here and there. Simple things like tattoo designs I wanted. Nothing major. I haven’t painted since my Senior year of high school (we won’t even talk about how long that has been). Sometimes I sit here and wonder if I still can. Acrylics were my favorite medium for painting. Followed by Oils, then Watercolors. I just always did better work with Acrylics.

I was recently given the opportunity to review a beautiful set of Acrylics. Sadly, we are on a TIGHT budget, so I have to wait to actually use them, until I get some brushes. However. This set is AMAZING. You have all of your base colors that you could ever need. 12 in all. They come in the perfect sized tubes in my opinion. I never did like big tubes, unless I was doing a REALLY large project. They are neatly packed into a nice little tray, inside a box. I am totally in love with this set. I ‘finger’ painted a little bit with them, on a piece of paper, and they have super nice coverage. They aren’t cheap acrylics by any means. I highly recommend these for any artist!

Premium Yacon Root Extract Review.

I have not been taking this very long. However, I do notice that I have more energy, and that I feel better when I am taking it, than I did before I started. My appetite is no where near as large as it used to be. Meaning I don’t feel hungry all the time, not even when bored. When I do eat, I feel full much faster than before. I am a major foodie, so this is a big bonus for me. I usually eat and eat because it looks good and tastes good, instead of stopping when I should. This keeps me from doing that.

The bottle is easy to open, which if you have arthritis and spawning carpal tunnel like I do, you will appreciate that. The capsules are also easy to swallow. Another bonus for those like me who have issues with that.

Overall, so far I recommend this. I will update when I have been taking it longer, as there isn’t much more I can say about it right now. As always, consult with your doctor first, to make sure it will not interact badly with anything else you are taking. Good luck!
